FLEK and NVRH Win Big in National Advertising Awards

Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital and FLEK, Inc. partners Florence Chamberlin and Amy Hale won a total of three awards in two separate National Healthcare Marketing Competitions. 
Two bronze awards were received from The Aster Awards Program, an elite competition recognizing the nation’s most talented healthcare marketing professionals for outstanding excellence in advertising.  The awards were for The Ripple Effect, Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital’s 2011 Annual Report and Healthy Choices, a magazine advertising series.  FLEK also won a silver award for the Healthy Choices ads from the 29th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards.  There were over 4,000 entries in the Healthcare Advertising Awards. 
“FLEK and the hospital have a long and valuable partnership.  Amy and Florence’s knowledge of the hospital and their long-standing commitment to the community is beneficial and crucial to their marketing voice.  NVRH is a 25 bed hospital, and we are grouped with other hospitals nationwide in groups of under 75 or 299 beds, so the competition is tough.  We are very pleased by these awards,” said Laural Ruggles, Vice President of Marketing and Community Health Improvement at NVRH.
