NVRH Auxiliary's New Cancer Boutique At NCCCN The Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital Auxiliarys 727 square foot new Cancer Boutique at Norris Cotton Cancer Center-North will be a provider of high-quality products to serve the needs of patients in treatment for cancer. The Boutique will open in the fall of 2011.
The Cancer Boutique business strategy bundles critical factors and many features that will be key to our success:
Critical factors: Serving cancer patients from Northern Vermont and Northern New Hampshire. Support for the Cancer Boutique by potential customers and medical professionals has been overwhelming. We will, whenever possible, purchase goods from vendors whose policy includes donating money to cancer research. Partnering with local service providers to allow one-stop shopping for the difficult purchases cancer patients must make. Features: Delivering high quality personal service to patients and families in cancer treatment. Offering high quality products at resale from vendors whose policies include donating money to cancer research. Contributing sale proceeds to the NVRH Auxiliary who, in turn, will use the money to support patients. Provide buzz cuts for patients who will lose their hair through treatments. Products to sample for comfort of patients. Give complimentary products to patients that have no way to afford them. Needs: We are currently raising $200,000 in funds to support this boutique. These expenses will include construction, fixtures & furniture, cash register & hardware, beginning inventory, and a comfort assistance fund. If you are interested in making a donation, volunteering your time, or offering a service ,please contact Pat Forest, Volunteer Coordinator or John Haygood, Auxiliary President at NVRH by calling 748-7310. Thank you for your interest and support!
