Day Surgery Department at NVRH Earns Recognition: Dolores Vieira, Director of Ambulatory and Surgical Services at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital displays the certificate of recognition received from Press Ganey Associates to the day surgery staff. The hard work and dedication to quality improvement resulted in a statistically significant increase in patient satisfaction, as reported by Press Ganey. Press Ganey works with healthcare institutions to compile patient feedback and, based on the returns, provide solutions and resources to improve performance and deliver high quality healthcare. Stated Colleen Sinon, Vice President of Quality Management at NVRH, "this is a well deserved honor; it’s all about great patient care. I speak for the entire hospital community when I say congratulations."
