On Tuesday, November 25th, Kelly Stoddard, Director of Government Relations and Advocacy of The American Cancer Society presented NVRH CEO Paul Bengtson with a plaque recognizing the hospital’s efforts in achieving a tobacco free campus. On January 1, 2009, the entire hospital campus will be tobacco free. Said Bengtson, "Although it’s been a challenge, I believe in this effort wholeheartedly. We are inspired by Rose Sheehan, our Coordinator of Tobacco Cessation at NVRH. Her passion and commitment is impressive and genuine."
