Post-Anesthesia Care UnitThe recovery room at NVRH provides immediate post-surgical care until patients are ready to be transferred to the Day Surgery Unit or an inpatient nursing unit. Nursing staff provides individualized care as well as the latest non-invasive, computerized monitoring equipment. As in the Operating Room, PACU services are available 24 hours a day.
